Tread thread finger trigger ( TTFR ) is a minimally invasive ultrasound-guided procedure for triggering a finger trigger using surgical thread sections as a dividing element, rather than using a scalpel or needle-like tip in situations of release of open finger trigger or percutaneous trigger finger removal.
The thread trigger finger release technique is the application of the Guo Technique and the procedure is similar to the release of the carpal tunnel thread.
The success rate of TTFR is high and there are almost no complications such as incomplete release, neurovascular or flexor tendon or A2 pulp injury, infection, bowstring, or reflex sympathetic dystrophy. Tiggering and locking resolved, and complete extensions and flexions recovered immediately after release in all cases. Patients do not take painkillers after surgery. Most patients return to their mild daily activity carefully after the procedure.
The TTFR technique is clinically feasible, safe and effective.
