Lava is a heavy duty hand cleaner, originally produced in the form of bar soap, developed by Waltke Company of St. Louis in 1893.
Currently manufactured by WD-40 Company, which acquired the brand from Block Drug in 1999, which acquired it from Procter & amp; Gambling in 1995. Unlike typical hand soap, Lava contains a pumice of soil, which gives the name of soap. Combination of soap and pumice stone is intended to erode tar, machine grease, paint, dirt, dirt, dirt, and similar substances from the skin.
Lava soap is currently available in three shapes, red wrapping rods of 5.75 ounces (163 g), 4-ounce (110 g) bulk green industrial packing rods, and a liquid form (7.5 oz pumping bottle). The liquid form also contains moisturizers and recently the bar adds moisturizer to its formulations as well. The original lava (no moisturizer), which is a beige rod, is no longer produced.
